About DILLARDS WORKING DOGS
At Dillards, we BreedTrain & Title German Shepherds and Malinois. We purchased our first German Shepherd in 1975 and did some Obedience Training. While in the Air Force, stationed in Germany in 1981, Ed fell in love with the Working German Shepherd Dog! Ed trained with some of the best during his 4 years in Germany and purchased a Stud and Dam before returning to the U.S. Ed trained both dogs and after achieving the SchH2 on the Dam, he bred her in 1988 and had his first litter of pups. Ed was stationed in Holland in 1991 and fell in love with the Malinois and purchased his first Malinois in Holland in 1992. While stationed in Holland for 4 years, Ed trained with some of the best KNPV Trainers! After leaving Holland in 1996, Ed trained Schutzhund with his 2 Malinois and had his first litter in 1998. The Malinois Breed has had a place in our hearts ever since we first layed eyes on the incredible power and speed of this breed! At Dillards Working Dogs, we can give you "all and more" than you could ever ask for in these wonderful breeds. We believe our training and breeding program stands apart from the others because of the early imprinting and special attention we pay to each and every litter and puppy.  We carefully select our Studs and Dams for optimum health, trainability and temperament!
We welcome you to visit our facility and view our Studs, Dams and Puppies. Since Dillards Working Dogs opened its doors, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other trainers and breeders may offer similar services, but our program stands apart from the rest, come and visit us and you will see why.         Sincerely, Edward Dillard
Interested in learning more? The Belgian Malinois is not for everyone, please research the breeds to help you determine which breed is the "right fit" for you, your family and your future! This breed has a lot of energy to burn and would best be served in an active home that is willing to throw the ball, go for walks and more! If you are a novice at the Working Dogs, we recommend you begin with the German Shepherd Breed. Visit your local SchH Clubs to WATCH, LISTEN and ASK ALOT of QUESTIONS!
A special "Thank You" to "Bill Tucker", Northern Virginia "Ring Club" for all of his patience from 1999 to 2006 and for being such a great "Teacher and Trainer"!!
